Block printed by skilled hands

Some of our designer cushions feature fabric created through traditional Indian block printing, an ancient art form still practised today. Artisans carve each motif by hand into wooden blocks, then stamp them onto fabric using natural dyes. Every step is done manually, from carving to printing, making each piece completely unique. These small irregularities; variations in ink, pressure or alignment, are what make block printed textiles so special. When used in our cushion designs, they add warmth, soul, and a story you can feel woven into every detail.

Woven with tradition

We’re proud to feature designer cushions made with handwoven textiles from indigenous hill tribes in Northern Thailand. These communities use traditional backstrap looms and natural dyes to create intricate fabrics with geometric and symbolic patterns. Each design carries cultural meaning and reflects generations of knowledge passed down through weaving, dyeing and embroidery. Crafted from cotton and made in small quantities, these fabrics are rich in heritage. Paired with our contemporary designs, they create a look that blend timeless tradition with modern style.

Sustainably sourced, beautifully backed

Every designer cushion in our range features a back panel made from 100% upcycled cotton, sourced from a family-run textile studio in Guatemala. This remarkable fabric is created using post-industrial cotton waste, which is ground down, re-spun into yarn, and woven into new cloth, without any synthetic fibres, dyes or harsh chemicals. The process uses minimal energy and even the leftovers are composted by local farmers. With its heavyweight feel and textured finish, this sustainable fabric brings both character and durability to every cushion.

Crafted with patience and precision

Each of these designs has been thoughtfully handcrafted by our small, skilled team. Fabrics are measured, aligned and hand-cut with care, then stitched using strong thread and high-quality zippers to ensure a beautiful, lasting finish. These designer cushion aren’t mass produced, they’re made with intention, one by one. To help make styling even easier, we also offer curated designer sets that combine colours, textures and patterns in a cohesive way. Every cushion is made to order, so please allow up to one week for your bespoke design to be crafted and dispatched.
